Full Application
Welcome to Full Application
The Full Application is for students who will be admitted by DIS directly. You may already have accessed the Full Application, using instructions supplied in the e-mail sent to you by DIS, with "Applying to DIS" in the subject field. To receive these instructions, you must complete the Preliminary Application.
Applications cannot be reviewed until the following materials have been submitted to DIS:
- Completed DIS application including essay
Accessible only via instructions included in your application email from DIS - One letter of recommendation from an academic advisor or instructor
Approximately one page in length, addressing your academic suitability and any other factors relevant to your ability to participate successfully in a study abroad program. - College transcripts (student copy acceptable)
- $50 application fee. Click here to pay via paypal, or mail a check to the address below.
Non-refundable, but if you are admitted and enroll at DIS, you will receive a $50 credit on your tuition fees.
Recommendations and transcripts may be emailed* to dis@umn.edu or sent in hard copy to DIS North American Office, 1313 5th St SE, Suite 113, Minneapolis MN, 55414.
* Emailed recommendations must be sent from recommender’s university email address.
DIS will notify you by email if your application is incomplete. Applications are reviewed by the DIS Admissions Board in Copenhagen and you will be notified of a decision within two weeks of receipt of your complete application. Accepted students are required to pay a $500 program deposit during the registration process to secure your place in the program. This deposit is non-refundable but the $500 will be deducted from your Comprehensive Tuition Fee.
