Advising Semester Students

Semester/Full Year Programs

DIS offers 16 different semester/full year study abroad programs. In addition to the general DIS admission criteria, some DIS programs have additional requirements. See the below grid for an overview.

Normally, full-year students switch to a new program in their second semester (spring). This way they will enroll in a new core course and new study tours while at the same time continuing to be able to take courses within the discipline they studied in the first semester. Four programs offer a full-fledged year option: Architecture & Design, Biomedicine, Medical Practice & Policy, Science & the Environment, and Sustainability in Europe.

I absolutely loved my semester here. In particular, the MPP program offered some really cool and different opportunities that I would never have gotten in the US. Also, the atmosphere in general was great - very relaxed, but at the same time, academically serious.
