Becoming a Partner University
Partnership Explained
Over 165 universities and colleges, predominantly in the US, are DIS Partners. A DIS Partner not only approves DIS, but also has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
DIS invites selective institutions to become Partners after DIS and the institution have acquired knowledge of one another’s study abroad mission and standards. The purpose of cooperation is to enhance opportunities for students to study abroad, and may also include possibilities for Danish students to study at the Partner Institution. Partners are under no obligation to send a minimum number of students to DIS. See the full list of DIS Partner Institutions here.
Benefits of Partnership
DIS Partners receive a high level of service including opportunities for individualized academic, invoicing, scholarship and other arrangements. Partners are assisted in learning about the DIS program and customized academic possibilities through campus visits from DIS staff and Danish faculty members. DIS also arranges pre-departure campus visits for any partner sending a group of students.
