Prof. Scott Carpenter from Carleton College has initiated the visit which will allow for the open exchange of ideas between Carleton College and DIS faculty, through which curricular and pedagogical ideas will be discussed and developed collaboratively.

During the four-day visit several topics will come under discussion, including research opportunities at DIS, interdisciplinary and "intercultural" teaching, integration of transnational or global issues into the curriculum.

A DIS Partner, Carleton College is a small, private liberal arts college in the historic river town of Northfield, Minnesota with an enrolment of approx. 2000 students.

285 Carleton students have attended DIS over the years. This semester we have 18 students from Carleton across most of our programs.
