DIS Involved at AmCham Thanksgiving

DIS student helpers were out in force at the American Chamber of Commerce’s 9th Annual Family Thanksgiving Dinner.

The Copenhagen Marriott hotel was the venue for the annual event on Saturday, November 27, with over 300 guests in attendance.

Kaitlin Vernon from DIS was this year’s guest speaker, sharing her family’s Thanksgiving memories and traditions. 

AmCham’s Stephen Brugger was the Master of Ceremonies, with U.S. Ambassador to Denmark, Laurie S. Fulton sharing President Obama’s 2010 Thanksgiving Proclamation.

Following the speeches, a meal of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, green bean casserole, root vegetables and an impressive dessert buffet with pumpkin pie, apple crisp, brownies, cheesecake, and lemon chiffon pie was enjoyed by the attendees.
