The 23-year-old, who is a former Capitol Hill intern and press staffer on the Obama Campaign, creates dimension-blurring works using acrylic paints on found objects and human subjects that challenge our planes of perception.

A Political Science major from Vassar College, Meade has had no formal art training but uses her academic background and experience in politics to explore ideas of how we interpret and relate to the media and environment that surrounds us.
