The course is open to all students, from architecture and child diversity to psychology and media, as it has wide-ranging benefits, including project development, management of resources, cooperation and creative idea generation – and all in an exciting environment.

Sign up is completed through the DIS student application and registration process.

In the course, students will get to work with Wonderful Copenhagen, an official government agency that promotes Copenhagen internationally. The concept behind this is to train personal leadership competences in an international environment through a project related to the study abroad experience in Copenhagen.

With group projects and exercises playing a crucial role, students will take part in a dynamic and creative process involving brainstorming, project development, social innovation and outcome evaluation.

The course is inspired by the curriculum of the internationally renowned KaosPilots (‘Chaos Pilots’), who strive to create positive societal change through personal growth and enterprise. Students will be encouraged to become knowledgeable, active learners that consider value-based idea development, for their personal benefit and that of society.

Uffe Elbaek, one of the course instructors, is the founder and former president of The KaosPilots, while the other instructor, Gry Guldberg, is a team leader and former president at the KaosPilot School at Malmö University, Sweden.
