DIS’ Haunted House event at Copenhagen Culture Night 2011 (Kulturnatten) was a huge success, with students, organizers and members of the public all enjoying the spooky atmosphere!
A DIS student shows how Pumpkin carving is done!

Apart from the ghoulish guests, severed limbs and dismembered phalanges (we can now reveal they were all fake!), there was great interest in the pumpkin carving activities and Halloween atmosphere. Thankfully the pumpkin carving resulted in no actual removal of bodily extremities!
For the uninitiated, Culture Night is an annual event in Copenhagen when the streets are swarmed with vast committees of culture vultures eager for adventures in the city’s museums, libraries, educational establishments, theatres, musical venues, churches and many other institutions that stay open throughout the evening to midnight or beyond.
This year, Culture Night took place on October 14 for the 19th time with over 500 events arranged just for the evening.
