Welcome - Practical Information
IT Services provides technical assistance for students, faculty, and staff. The IT Help Desk is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is located in V5.07, on the first floor of Vestergade 5. The IT Services staff can provide assistance with DIS computer issues, DIS user accounts, printing, and wireless internet connections, as well as service your personal computer.
If you are experiencing a problem with your personal computer, DIS IT Services will provide assistance on a first come-first served basis. Please bring your computer to the IT Help Desk no later than 3 p.m. so there is ample time to help with the problem. We strongly encourage the backup of important files prior to bringing your computer in for service.
Available for purchase at the IT Help Desk are electrical plug adapters, ethernet cables by the meter, CDs, DVDs, and souvenir DIS mouse pads.
Basic IT assistance is also available in the DIS Library weekdays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. and weekends from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Please note that during holidays, study tours and travel breaks, assistance is available during the Library's limited opening hours.
