Student Computer Labs

DIS IT Services maintains five Windows-based computer labs. Programs installed in the computer labs include: 3DS Max, Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Ecotect, Microsoft Office, Revit, Rhino with V-Ray Renderer, SketchUP, and Skype. Digital card readers, as well as headphones with microphone, are located at each computer. The computer labs are located at:

Vestergade 23

Open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

• Room 303: 18 Windows workstations, 2 printers plus 1 multi-function printer/copier/scanner
• Room 406: 24 Windows workstations, 2 printers

Vestergade 10

Open 24 hours a day, Library Lab follows Library hours.

• Room A31: 26 Windows workstations, 2 printers plus 1 multi-function printer/copier/scanner, 3 A4 flatbed scanners
• Room B35: 32 Windows workstations, 3 printers plus 1 multi-function printer/copier/scanner, 2 plotters, 8 A3 flatbed scanners
• Library: 17 Windows workstations, 2 printers plus 1 multi-function printer/copier/scanner

Computer & Print Kiosks

In addition to the DIS computer labs, there are computer and print kiosks located in the common student lounges of Vestergade 7, 10, and 23. These computers are intended for lighter computing tasks such as e-mailing, web browsing and quick printing. Also, work tables in the basement of Vestergade 7 are equipped with ethernet cables and electrical outlets for use with your personal computer.

Printing

Students are allotted 200 Danish kroner at the beginning of each semester for printing. The cost of the print job is automatically deducted from your personal print account after the release of each job. If you have insufficient funds your print job will not be released. To add more money to your print account visit the IT Help Desk, cash only please.
