Submit your Photographs to DIS
DIS loves student photographs! So much so, that we pay 50 kroner for every snap we add to our archive. Submit your best photos to our DIS Flickr Group for consideration – we will review all entries on a bi-weekly basis. Please include your first and last name in your photo description.
At the end of the semester a judging panel of staff and DIS academics will choose the best image out of the submissions, with the winners receiving an extra prize of 500 kroner.
There is no limit on how many photographs we buy from a single person, with one of our Spring 2011 students earning well over 1000 kroner for her images….
Photographs can be anything DIS or Copenhagen related that convey your study abroad experience. So send us photos from your field studies, of your fellow students, of study tours and your housing options, or of DIS events and general Copenhagen and Denmark shots. Be sure to focus on people pictures and eye-catching locations! Check out the gallery below for inspiration!
Student Photographs
Deadline: Submittal of your photos is any time between now and the end of term.
Publication of Chosen Entries: On receipt of payment, students agree that their photos or videos will be published in full or in excerpts on the DIS website and/or in other DIS publications.
