A Better Study Abroad Experience

DIS is a high-end study abroad program that puts value for money at the center of its philosophy. The DIS comprehensive Tuition and Housing fee structure covers much more than just tuition. Also included in this fee are course-integrated study tours and field trips, accommodation, transportation from housing to DIS, health and liability insurance, and airport pick-up upon arrival. Students also avail of the free use of textbooks for classes, IT and library services, a cell phone, a complete Orientation Program and pre-departure advice and assistance as part of the fee.

The DIS Tuition and Housing fees, once published, will not change by guarantee. Many other study abroad programs do not fix their prices and these can go up if, for example, the value of the US dollar falls. Please note that transport to and from the US and spending money are outside the comprehensive fee. Once fees have been paid to DIS, you can safely budget your stay in Europe. Study Abroad Scholarships

DIS study abroad scholarships are available for summer students. The DIS Board of Directors allocates scholarship funds to enable students to study abroad in Copenhagen. In general, about 40% of all students receive a DIS study abroad scholarship or discount. Please visit the study abroad scholarship page for more information.

These include: a student service desk, personal counseling, IT and computer services, student intranet, library services, tourism info, housing assistance, visa advice and assistance, passport registration, student information, insurance claim processing, and much more.
