Description

This study tour provides you with the opportunity to explore the health care systems in Northern Europe, while furthering your understanding of the salient aspects of public health.  As a participant in this tour, you will also be able to derive comparative insight from the analysis of different national health care systems.   Academic visits on tour could include meeting with general practitioners, visiting medical practice regulatory institutions, as well as gaining insight into end-of-life care in the public sector.

In addition to the academic activities on study tour, the study tour program is supplemented with visits and events relevant  to the culture, history, and socioeconomic climate of the region.  Previous activities have included a city bike tour, a visit to the Van Gogh Museum, and a Red Light District walking tour.
