Description

In determining the academic program, we seek to combine hands-on experiences with opportunities to derive comparative insight into medical practice across countries. The Berlin portion of the tour features a visit to Charité University hospital, which ranks among the largest teaching hospitals in Europe and as a premier hospital in Germany.  The program also includes a visit to the Max-Delbrük Center for Molecular Medicine, a research facility that brings clinical research in molecular biology and genetics from bench to bedside.

The academic program is supplemented with cultural visits to relevant and exciting sites to help students engage to the fullest extent. In the past, cultural visits have included a city bike tour, visit to the Jewish Museum, and the Reichstag Building (Germany Parliament).
