Sweden Canoe & Hiking Trip
Available: Summer Session 1Price: $225
Join us for a weekend of outdoor activities in Southern Sweden. Spend a day hiking and exploring the beautiful Kullaberg Peninsula. Climb down the forest trail to the coast and the Nimis driftwood sculptures. You will find yourself rappelling down the cliffs over the Øresund sound and challenging your mind with an orienteering course.
In the evening relax in the hostel garden and hang out with your friends around the bonfire. The next day canoe down Ronne River which winds through the Swedish countryside and finally finds its way into the town of Ängelholm on the west coast of Sweden. It is a weekend full of fresh air, beautiful views and fun activities.
The trip includes: 1 night accommodation, round-trip bus transfers, meals for the weekend (1 x breakfast, 2 x lunch & 1 x dinner), canoe rental, gear for rappelling & local guide for orienteering.

Bornholm Bike Trip
Available: Summer Session 1Price: $225
Spend two days cycling on the beautiful island of Bornholm. Located in the Baltic Sea southeast of Copenhagen, Bornholm is perfect for biking and full of cultural and natural highlights. Its rolling hills are covered with a patchwork of farms, its coastline is dotted with sandy beaches and the island is criss-crossed with 250 kilometres of bike paths that have been praised as among the best and most beautiful in Northern Europe.
In addition to biking, you can go for a hike, sample the famous smoked herring, visit one of the many glass blowing or ceramics studios or take the ferry to the neighboring island of Christiansø. You will stay at a hostel right by the sea on the east coast of the island and start your adventures from there.
The price includes: bus transfers, overnight ferry to Bornholm (excl cabins) and return ferry to Copenhagen, bike rental, stay at local hostel, 2 meals per day (2 x breakfasts and 2 x dinner)

Rock Climbing
Available: Summer Session 1
Price: $125
Spend a day away from Copenhagen meeting new people and exploring Sweden and Europe from another perspective! Join us for a day of rock climbing along the stunning Swedish coast. The climbing and rappelling is guided by professionals who can teach you to climb for the first time. This trip is aimed for beginners, however, if you are experienced in rock climbing, the coast of Sweden has some challenges for you as well!
The cliffs you will be scaling are full of character and have some of the most beautiful views. As a reward for reaching the top of the cliff, you can have a picturesque panorama across the Øresund, the narrow waterway between Sweden and Denmark. On a clear day, you can even see all the way to Denmark including the beautiful fortress of Kronborg, Hamlet’s Castle.
The price includes: lunch packs, bus transfer to and from Sweden, all rock-climbing equipment, and professional instruction. Places are limited with students placed on the trip on a first-come, first-served basis according to receipt of payment by DIS. -
Summer Sailing

Price: $225
Denmark is surrounded by water and consists of more than 400 islands. Why not make the most of it and head for weekend on board one of the beautiful tall ships to explore the waters along the picturesque Danish coastline. After thorough instruction of climbing and sail setting, the boat will head out to sea. The seemingly endless sunlight of the summer allows us to sail late into the evening, and have two full day on the water. Be prepared to join the crew in the navigation and enjoy where the wind takes you!
The price includes: Transportation to and from the port, meals for the weekend (1x breakfast, 2x lunch, 1x dinner) as well as an overnight on board.

Legoland
Available: Summer Session 1
Price: $65
Visit the Disney World of Denmark and explore your younger side at Legoland. Visited by 1.7 million people annually, this park is practically a rite of passage for many Danes, who are proud the Lego brick was invented in Denmark.
The park at Billund is divided into 9 worlds including Pirate Land and Viking Land, and has a handful of roller coasters and miniature constructions of world famous monuments. Take your picture with Abraham Lincoln, visit Mount Rushmore, walk through downtown Copenhagen and Nyhavn - miniature sized!
The price includes: bus transportation to/from Legoland and entrance. Lunch is not included. With limited spaces, students are be placed on the trip on a first-come, first-served basis based on receipt of payment by DIS.
