Biology
This course gives students in Biology of Marine Mammals the chance to gain laboratory credit while abroad. Students learn the process of a porpoise or seal necropsy. This includes correct measurement procedures, identifying diseases and parasites and compiling data to then produce a report. A half lab day will allow students to do an actual dissection followed up by a written investigation of the necropsy based on specific parameter relationships.
You must also be enrolled in the 3 credit course Biology of Marine Mammals.
