Complexity of Cancer

This course offers an extensive clinical look at a variety of different types of cancer and their treatments. Topics include carcinogenesis with focus on genetics and molecular aspects, epidemiology and diagnostics, the principles of anticancer therapies, as well as drug development and clinical testing. The course will also take an in depth look at major cancer types, their classification, biology and specific therapies, as well as the complications of cancer.
Prerequisites
One year of biology and one year of chemistry at the university level.
