and
International Relations
This class gives an insight into the complex issues of development, of the economic paradigms driving it, and the international aid infrastructure set in place to help deliver it. The approach is grounded in real life, highly practical and case-based, while relying on a solid theoretical framework. By the end of the course, students will have examined the economic paradigms between countries using a geographical and historical background and will have a solid understanding of what actors, policies, and operations play a key role in economic development.
Prerequisites
One course each in macro- and microeconomics at the university level.
