European Business Strategy will be studied through intensive lectures and broad-based business analysis (assignments and case-studies) of European and Danish companies. The focus is on the European business environment and the business strategies implemented by European companies. This includes a closer look at the business impact of EU integration, institutions, decision-making, policies and regulations as well as business strategies and business models of European businesses in the global marketplace. In particular, European Business within one or two of the following industries will be studied as case examples: consumer goods, finance, pharmaceutical, and airline industry.
Prerequisites
One course each in macro- and microeconomics at the university level.
