A study of the most important concepts and theories in health economics and health policy analysis. We will apply concepts and theories to actual cases from Northern Europe in which health economics rationales clash with health politics. Students will gain the ability to independently carry out basic health economic appraisals of health care interventions and decision analysis of health policy processes.
