Globally, human trafficking ranks among the most profitable international criminal activities. It is also a violation of human rights. This course provides an overview of legal, law-enforcement and societal responses to trafficking. Journalists, social workers and government representatives involved in the issue – some doubling as filmmakers – contribute their unique perspectives on the issue, including trafficking’s links to prostitution.
