Plants have changed history and the way we live – on a global scale and in our everyday lives. From the rise and fall of empires and the exploitation of colonies to today’s emerging economies, plant products have shaped the development of civilization. This course reveals these influential plants and presents a thought-provoking narrative explaining how they have changed the world.
