The European Union has been called an Unidentified Political Object (UPO) because it is not a state but it is more powerful than any other international organization. This course offers a broad study of the EU, including historical development, governing institutions, political processes and major policies. Students will participate in a Simulation European Union Game (the SIM GAME) and must negotiate for a EU resolution that most benefits their country.
