Is the liaison between religion and politics a dangerous one? Religion has certainly resurfaced as a visible player in politics, public life, and international relations. Secularism — the idea that religion and politics, church and state should be kept apart — has come under pressure. The purpose of this course is to examine the relation between religion and politics in from a European perspective.
