The course provides a general understanding of Russian culture and history through the lens of literature. Russian cinema, art, and music will be studied alongside Russian literary masterpieces by authors such as Dostoevsky, Chekhov, Nabokov, and Bulgakov, among others. Students are encouraged to participate in the elective study tour to Russia.
