Rebel Child: Scandinavian Children’s Literature, The

This course studies the characteristics of Scandinavian children’s literature. It is in the voice of its often rebellious role models that Scandinavian literature stands out in content as well as form. The course will offer a discussion of different perspectives on the child and compare the literature to both American and British works for children.
