Scandinavian Interior Architecture

Fall & Spring | 3 credits | Elective
Majors: Architectural History, Architecture, Interior Architecture, and Interior Design

Lecture course presenting the history and trends in
interior architecture in Scandinavia. The focus will be on
contemporary interiors and the use of materials, furniture,
products, color, lighting and day-lighting. Discussion of how
interiors can be sustainable as interior climates will be a
consistent theme throughout the course. Lectures will be
supported by extensive on-site visits in Copenhagen.
