Gain first-hand experience of the complex processes of change that Russia has been undergoing since the breakdown of Communism in 1991, and examine the country’s dramatic history. You will visit the Moscow Kremlin and Red Square, cook and arrange a dinner party with Russian students in their homes, walk the Nevsky Prospect and have a tour of St. Petersburg ‘behind the facades’ with back yards and Soviet communal apartments.

In addition, you will visit famous museums, such as the Hermitage art museum – located in the Tsars’ Winter Palace – in St. Petersburg. Enjoy an overnight train ride between the two cities. You will return to Copenhagen with a bunch of new, Russian friends and a much better understanding of the enigma that is, and always has been, Russia.
