Objectives
- Critically examine the strategies of multinational corporations using a case study format and on-site business visits
- Understand the influence of industries and policy on businesses in France and across Europe

- It is the very first time that this tour in Paris is offered to International Business Students; there is therefore no track of previous activities.
Description
This tour is designed to allow students to compare and contrast different sectors of the French, European and global economies. Company visits illustrate the complex strategic planning companies undergo in order to progress in their sector. Visits will predominantly focus on the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and/or fashion industries.
In addition to the academic activities on this study tour in Paris, the study tour program will be supplemented with cultural visits meant to enrich students’ knowledge of the history of Europe and contextualizing cultural differences. Potential visits could include The Eiffel Tower, Le Louvre museum, Paris fashion districts (including the Jewish district), Paris catacombs, Versailles castle and more.
