This study tour provides you with the opportunity to explore the field of special needs and inclusion practices in Denmark.  Academic visits on tour could include meeting with educational and psychological consultants, visiting child care institutions, as well as gaining insight into inclusive practices in Danish schools.  Students will examine the Nordic interpretation of inclusive practice, sensory learning, and disability policies.

In addition to the academic activities on study tour, the study tour program is supplemented with cultural visits to relevant and exciting sites and events to help engage students to the fullest extent.  They help to give students a more well-rounded understanding of the communities in which they are studying.  In the past, cultural visits have included touring castles, museum visits, and experiencing traditional Danish food at a local Kro.
