Description
The short tour will include visits with organizations, NGOs, and researchers dealing with cross-cultural psychology. The tour will allow you to dig deeper into the culture of the city by attending performances, visiting museum exhibitions, and exploring the streets of the city. Tours integrate theories presented in classroom learning together with observations, field studies, and the tour visits to set the stage for an extended study of culture from a psychological perspective.
Visits will also give you a forum to discuss and debate cultural differences in how this area is best studied including differences in emphasis on quantitative versus qualitative methods. Finally, you will collect observational data and interview data on the study tour to be used in your two papers.
