Description
The study tour should equip you with hands-on knowledge of the health care systems in Northern Europe, while furthering your understanding of the salient aspects of public health. As a student on this tour, you will also be able to derive comparative insight from the analysis of different national health care systems. Academic visits on the tour could include meeting with general practitioners, visiting policy-making institutions, as well as meeting with interest groups that focus on community public health.
In addition to the academic activities, the study tour program is supplemented with cultural visits to relevant and exciting sites and events to help engaged students to the fullest extent. In the past, cultural visits have included a city walking tour, philharmonic orchestra performance, contemporary art museum, and Finnish sauna.
