Description

Denmark is famous for its initiatives regarding sustainability and this tour aims to familiarize students with Danish communities committed to resource management. Hands-on engagement could include visits to wind farms, solar powered heating plants and local governments which will introduce students to the communities and technologies driving green innovation. Understanding the Danish culture is an integral step to comprehending the events leading to Denmark’s leadership in environmentally conscientious mindset, and students will be challenged to immerse themselves through various cultural experiences and cuisine.

Spending a morning walking around in cow pastures discussing renewable energy, organic farming and the country lifestyle on my short study tour was incredible. Seeing sustainable living in practice was simply amazing – I cannot imagine a better lifestyle!
